Antique Indian Recurved Wood Bow 18801920 Cheap

This is an old indian made wood bow, no i don't know the tribe. It is a recurved bow that curved a little too far i think. Looks like ti was left strung in the wrong direction. It it's about 40 along the curve and 1 wide.

I think the stain in the center was an old leather wrap at one time. Maybe you could strighten it out with steam? A recurve bow has tips that curve away from the archer when the bow is unstrung.
